I am just a person and this is my small business. I treat people the way I wish to be treated — with respect. This includes respecting your privacy the way I would want my privacy respected. And, it turns out, I want my privacy respected perhaps even more vigorously than most people.
I save my email lists on MailChimp, an extremely prominent and popular email system with extremely high quality security. I do not sell or rent your name and email address and I do not share this information with anyone. If I ever had reason to, I would ask for your permission to do so, but I have been an entrepreneur since 1994 and I have yet to find a reason to share email lists with anyone.
